Lyrics from Ronnie and the Red Caps

My Thoughts

These four songs are pretty rough. For the first releases from a band, I suppose they're alright, but nothing to write home about. "Lover" is certainly the weakest, and I'm almost positive that Ronnie isn't doing vocals on this one. The songs is slightly annoying, but I do find myself tapping to the beat, so it's not all bad.

"Conquest" is an instrumental, and I'd bet that Ronnie is on horns for this one. The song itself, however, is fairly mundane and not too complex.

"An Angel Is Missing" is the bright spot from the Red Caps. I don't know if they wrote it (probably not), but it's very melodic. Ronnie sings, and sings well. As always.

"What'd I Say" is a remake of a classic, and this version isn't bad.

So that's the Red Caps.
